This is an official announcement that Uralla Shire Business Chamber will be holding our Annual General Meeting on:
Thursday 1st October, 2026 (at the Funk Lush Room at the Top Pub, Uralla)
Thursday 5th November, 2026 (at the RSL Rooms, 55 Bridge St, Uralla)
We were forced to reschedule as we did not reach a quorum for the meeting. Please try to make it, and if you cannot, please give your proxy to someone who will be there, in order to meet quorum.
Nominations are called for the positions of:
President,
Vice-President,
Secretary,
Treasurer,
and 4 general committee members.
All members are welcome to attend. In order to stand and/or vote for an Executive position, members must be Business members paid in full for the 2026/7 financial year.
Becoming a member of the Uralla Shire Business Chamber Inc (trading as Business Uralla) provides STRENGTH IN NUMBERS to all businesses. Members are part of a large network of businesses who work together to improve business conditions for all business sectors, not just in Uralla Shire but across the New England North West and across the State.
Some of the notable areas of business currently being worked on by Business NSW include the Workers Compensation system and Payroll tax.

Also below is a link to a deed of confidentiality to be completed between successful board directors and the Chamber. If you are nominating for a position on the board, please print this out, complete your part and bring along with you to the AGM.

After the AGM we will be going straight into our Monthly General meeting and dinner.
